I wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays. Alot has happened over the last year in many of the Valley Towns. So this year in Review which mayor or first selectman in the Valley has had the best 2006?

Slowed Development in Derby

Who do you think should take responsibility for the slow progress in Downtown Derby. Obviously things have moved faster then in recent years, but are they fast enough.

On a side note, at what point does th Mayor use eminent domain?

City of Ansonia looking to expand 55 and older housing

Zoning and Planning in Ansonia is looking to increase the amount of senior housing, but at what cost. Is this an effort in combination with the removal of the residents on Olsen dr. By passing an ordinace stating that public housing be for 55 and older it will ensure that many of the residents from Olsen Dr must move out of the City. Was this planned?.....

Derby Middle School

The battle for a new school building in Derby is still raging. Do you think Derby will final have it's new school, or will it fail like all the others

Dog Ban

The City of Derby has banned dogs from the Greenway. Will this comeback and bite the mayor in the A##?

Do you feel a sucessfull sports program can affect academic performance for the entire school?
